Converting between Bushido and d20 by DaveF
Preamble
Is it possible to convert between the Bushido system and d20 system?
- I think so, basically both systems use a similar mechanic on a similar scale.
As I see it there are several posibilities that might make this useful to the Bushido Community:
- to use the d20 source books with Bushido, there are a lot of them!
- to allow a referee to use the Bushido ideas with d20 campaign, the abstract battle and event system, for example which is reguarded as one of the best ever developed.
- to use the Bushido background with a d20 system
- use the Bushido system instead of the d20 one to run a d20 background game.
This paper is meant to show the way, not acted as a simple this is how you do it manual. That might come later.
